Fuck that whore...

What she did caused people fortunes, jail time, and ruined lives so she could sell a movie. I'm surprised she is even still alive to make a contribution.

"What she did caused people fortunes, jail time, and ruined lives so she could sell a movie."

ME you post the same thing every time traci lords' name is mentioned. The hypocrisy of the sex industry wailing about peoples' lives being ruined just cos someone wanted to make a movie is quite bizarre.

They just don't like it, cos they were the ones getting fucked and losing all their money for a change.

Funny how, when other porn is mentioned, you don't go into conniptions about whose lives were ruined, who lost all their money, and who wound up in jail: only traci lords is a "fucking whore"... again, an especially funny comment from someone who distributes porn...

Let me rephrase that. Traci Lords is a worthless stupid cunt that doesn't deserve to breathe the same air as us. Because she lied about her age and tipped off the cops when she switched companies to make that one movie when she was 18, she screwed everyone over.

I'm talking everyone who works in that industry. Now the records one has to keep is insane.

Frankly, what Traci Lords did has nothing to do with porn. It has to do with her not telling the truth and having it destroy people. She lied and benefited her self by ruining other people. That's why she is a fucking dumb bitch.

Oh, and of course she lives in Walla. No one in Cali wants to see her sorry ass anymore.

Pardon me for not feeling sorry for a bunch of drug dealing, exploitative, boring, untalented, mafia funded shitebags cos they filmed the wrong chick having sex. Oh, poor them.

Traci lords did what everyone else in the sex industry does: made a name that people remember by fucking other people over. So what?

You trying to paint a picture of the sex industry as a bunch of businessmen who never destroyed anyone's life to make a quick buck? Good people having fun, like Boogie Nights eh?

Stop being so naive, ffs.

They deserve each other, stop whinging as if it harmed you in any way shape or form: the people who traci lords fucked over are big enough to defend themselves, ME, and traci lords is dumb enough to fuck with them... so what?

It's hilarious to me the way your priorities work: illegal immigrants "shouldn't be in the country" but the sex industry was "exploited" by traci lords?

That's a skewed perspective if ever I saw one.

First off, you are trying to make it seem once again as all the porn industry does is fuck people over and destroy lives.

It doesn't. Some, yes... In all honesty I agree with the strict taxing and all that because it makes sure not just anyone can be a pornographer. I'm even for a company paying for a permit to shoot porn. If you planning to run a decent porn company you obviously have the money to pay for a permit.

Since porn is defended by free speech though, a lot of times they cannot bust these people. Nixon came up with the idea of trying to, and just keep trying. The Traci Lords thing was in like 86 or 87. The case was finally thrown away in 92. Yeah, they didn't get busted, but it drained their bank accounts. That was the whole intention. Not to get them in trouble, but to ruin them through court fees. That is what is happening to Extreme Associates. The government knows that there won't be a large outcry from the public. Last thing an attorney needs is to have his face on TV outside the courthouse protesting and asking for the pornographers to be set free.

Traci Lords gave the government a reason to do this.

Let's say you become owner of where you work Dr. Mark. You hire someone. They lie to you, then let everyone know that they lied, you wind up going to jail, and they benefit off of it. Not too much fun is it?

Porn does not search these people out. That is the biggest myth about porn. (I'm not talking about sleazy Joe down the street who has a SVHS cam, a website, a VHS duplicator, and thinks he's a stud. He might do that.) Porn stars come to the porn companies or go through a company like World Modeling. Porn doesn't destroy lives. The people choose to do porn. At least they aren't out giving blowjobs for 50 bucks in the back of an old Volvo somewhere. Some might say they give the girls an outlet for such behavior, but it is an outlet that is in more demand than football, hockey, and baseball combined. I think this year it almost reached 10 billion dollars. Yet, no one really claims to buy it... Strange.

Also, Boogie Nights was loosely based on John Holmes. When I say loosely, I mean that names were changed, Burt Reynolds wasn't Asian, and the bloody murder was left out. (More bloody than the Tate murder) Yeah, the robbery was in it, but it didn't show Dirk Diggler being forced to go and kill the guys that helped him rob the dude. (That's what people think happened, but aren't sure, but would explain why Holmes was covered in blood.) It also just showed Dirk Diggler prostituting himself which Holmes never did, but I guess PT Anderson chose that over Dirk doing like 3 gay films. That probably wouldn't of gone over well with test audiences.

Was it all fun and games? Dirk Diggler did a lot of drugs... The relaxed atmosphere that was displayed in the film? That's how it was back in the 70's. It also shows the negative affects like where Buck goes and tries to get a loan to open a store and they won't let him because he worked in porn. Maybe you should watch it again and notice that it wasn't all fun and games and a good time. It was people doing what they liked doing and a lot of times the people doing it weren't exactly desired by society's standards which is why crazy shit can happen.

A lot of times the people doing porn aren't the greatest people out there. Keep this in mind though, those that usually get busted aren't the people who make it. It is rare that the makers get busted.

Ever since movies were being filmed, porn has been being filmed. A lot of times it was silent movie stars in the porn flicks.

Porn companies exploit women just as much as Motley Crue, Def Lepard, Led Zepplin, KISS, Tupac, and Van Halen. At least the porn companies are paying the girls.

You feel how you do about this, and I feel how I feel about this. You are basing a lot of what you say on worst case situations and that is no way to properly come to a conclusion about something. More people die in rap than die in porn. Porn stars also outlive rock stars.

I'm done with this. We are both set in our ways about this.

Peace.

I realise we're both set in our ways about this ME: I dunno about you, but when i go out drinking beers with mates a lot of time is pent gooing over fundamental age old differences of opinion and going "but no! you're just a cunt and you're totally wrong!" - to me it's called "shooting the shit".

Now, back to the argument ;-)

First off, we are *both* talking about extreme situations.

You admit that "It doesn't. Some, yes... " and that's what i'm saying. I did not say that "all porn destroys lives" but what I am saying is this:

You cannot take the high ground and talk about a person "destroying lives" to further *their career* (because that's what lord's did, she puulled a stunt in order to be 'that girl' and hence people know who she is even outside of porn) when you are talking about the sex industry, because the sex industry - if you want to gget up on a moral high-horse - "destroys lives" on a regular basis to further *its* career.

And so, whenevr you post "traci lords destroyed lives and ruined people" I'll more than likely post "oh come on, the sex industry are no fucking angels" - simple.

And as regards boogie nights, as I keep saying "wonderland" is a much better movie and speaks to what *I* know of the drugs and adult industry and always projected it would have been like at the time. I was really urprised to enjoy a movie with Val Kilmer in it that much, to be honest. It's quite nasty.

peace

Interesting, Tupac's exploitation was on par with the the whole porn industry.

Quote:

What's the criteria for this ?

The following porn stars tested positive for HIV:
Caroline, Brooke Ashley and Tricia Devereaux.
Veteran male performer Marc Wallice is widely thought to be the source of infection for everyone in 1998 (having engaged on camera
in unprotected anal sex with the infected girls), and possibly Nena Cherry (2/97), Jordan McKnight (5/97), and French girls Delfin
(6/97?) and Barbara Doll (5/95) in past years.

At a February fourth, 1998 talent meeting, Tricia Devereaux told her peers that she had tested HIV positive in early January. Then
Sharon Mitchell told the crowd of 200 that virtually everybody had been exposed the HIV virus, and that the then-current Eliza test
was no longer considered suitable. The industry standard was now the PCR-DNA test for HIV.

On March 27, Brooke Ashley tested HIV positive, after turning in a "50-man anal gangbang" in late January and early February,
where she worked with Wallice.

In early April, Caroline tested HIV positive followed by Wallice April 30. Wallice's test revealed that he had probably been HIV
positive for a year or so.

On May 29, Kimberly Jade tested HIV positive. She worked with Marc in late 1997. Her test revealed that she had been HIV positive
for about six months.

Val actually should of won awards for that performance.

Boogie Nights visually and as far as story goes is the better film.

It was a broad view at the industry, while Wonderland was a view at a single incident. John wasn't even doing porn when that movie took place.

Missread you post, but if you want shit on Tupac, here ya go.

"Tupac had sex with almost all the women during the filming of the X-rated "How Do U Want It?" video. He collapsed from exhaustion."

http://thuglifearmy.com/news/?id=26
It is known as fact under there.

And then this:
http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9F0CE0DC123FF933A15752C1A965958260

And didn't he claim to fuck Big's wife?

Porn is a huge industy. Tupac is one man. For one man, he did a damn good job of viewing women as objects.

If you want to look at deaths as a whole, rap is more dangerous than porn. Rock and Roll is more dangerous than porn. For how many porn performers there are that don't get AIDS you could consider it a lot safer than people will tell you. Writers never list the hundreds of thousands if not more working in the industry that didn't contract AIDS. Also, a lot of porn stars have gotten AIDS after they left the industry. A lot of times they will do escort work and get it there, but since they were a porn star at one point people throw it into statistics even though it doesn't belong there.

No it wasn't: boogie nights is inoffensive, candy ass garbage about how much of a giggle it was to make porn in the 70s. It looks like 'that 70s show' and consists of exactly the same, rose tinted glasses vacuous garbage.

"It was a broad view at the industry"

No it was a fluffy attempt to say it was all great fun and innocent: it left out any detail about the nasty ends everyone came to.

And mark wahlberg is shit.

and at the end of the day, unless Traci Lord sis making you money, or costing you money, you shouldn't give a fuck about her or anything to do with her.
